Weston County School District #7 has the following job opening to begin with the upcoming school year in August 2024:

1 Certified teacher MS Language Arts with possible MS Coaching duties available. 

To apply please submit the Wyoming Statewide Certified Teaching Application; a copy of your current certification (or letter stating the status of becoming certified in the State of Wyoming); 2 letters of reference; a cover sheet; and updated resume’.  Packets may be emailed to alocke@weston7.org, mailed to PO Box 470, Upton, WY 82730 or dropped off at 804 Willow, Upton, WY.  Applications will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Monday April 22, 2024.

WCSD #7 is currently accepting applications for:

Substitute employees in all areas – bus driving (will provide paid training); custodial; cook;

special education aides; and classroom teacher subs.

Completed applications and a cover letter will need to be returned to the Business Office in the Nelson

building. Applications will be accepted until the job is filled. Successful applicants will need to be

fingerprinted and pass the State background check.

Subs Needed

Upton Schools is currently accepting applications for Substitutes staff in the following areas:

·         Substitute teachers – must hold a valid substitute permit from the Wyoming Professional Teachers Standards Board or a valid Wyoming Teaching Certificate (background check required during the certification process).  Requires the completion of a district employment application.   

o   $140 per day for those holding only a PTSB Wyoming Substitute Certificate

o   $145 per day for those holding an active PTSB Wyoming Teaching Certificate

o   $150 per day for Weston 7 retired teachers with an active PTSB Teaching Certificate

·         Substitute paraprofessional, food service & custodial staff – requires a completed application and fingerprinting for a background check.  Hourly rate varies by department. 

·         Substitute bus drivers – requires the completion of a district employment application, fingerprinting for a background check, a DOT physical, passing a pre-employment drug test, and a CDL license.  The district will provide paid hourly training to those needing to obtain a CDL permit or needing to add the bus driver endorsement to their current CDL.  Pay rate $20/hour.
